Iberostar Selection Playa de Palma

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach. The transport connection to Palma and the airport is also very good. We really enjoyed the food in the hotel’s restaurant. We were impressed by the variety of the dishes - every evening there was something new and special. Plenty of seafood, local specialties, exquisite desserts, to name but a few. The service was a top notch, both in the restaurant and on the roof terrace. Chilled smoothies, fresh fruits and snacks were always at our disposal. Our special thanks to Alex from the reception. He was very helpful. We got a little problem in our room. The problem was solved very promptly - we were offered a better and bigger room. So the rest of our holiday went smoothly. The new room on the sixth floor was specious, overlooking the sea, quiet and immaculately clean. We used to stay in another only for adults hotel. Booking Iberostar Playa de Palma we were not sure it would be quiet enough. Due to the wise division within the hotel into child friendly and adults only zones (sixth and seventh floors were child free) we were not disturbed by the noise. We’ll definitely recommend this hotel and come back some other time.

Excellent location, 1 min walk to the beach. They have towels to use, and the pool area is also nice. It’s not too crowded, we easily got chairs at the pool and beach. Beach is 6 Euro for a chair, and 6 Euro for umbrella, totally worth it. The airport is close, and Palma city is also very close. Our room was awesome, sea view suite, and we got a full sea view, not partial like some places. The breakfast is also good. I emailed ahead of time for info on some activities, the staff were so nice and helped me get the info. I would not hesitate to stay there again. This is very family friendly.

Entire hotel was spotless, comfortable and felt so luxurious. All the staff were friendly and happy to help. The private roof pool terrace for star prestige rooms was incredible. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful which is exactly what we wanted. The location is ideal, a 15 minute bus from the hotel and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. Right next to the beach but slightly set back from the road so we weren’t bothered by the noise of the strip and it still felt private.

The breakfast offerings were spectacular. The staff were exemplary. The location was good but most things were closed in the 2nd 1/2 of February.

Breakfast, facilities (spa, gym, pool), and service levels, but above all the staff were exceptional (Amanda and Monica to name just a few). We were treated to a lovely welcome, only to find out our room had been upgraded on arrival to help accommodate our 4 month old baby. They also helped to arrange car hire and transfers at short notice, and no request was too difficult for them. We would all love to go back and stay again (for longer next time!)
